Standard Terms and Conditions of Hire

 

  • Prices are valid for 7 days from above date, subject to availability.

  • All goods remain the property of Fabulous Functions, it may not be taken or sold.

  • Standard Terms of Payment:  50% Deposit on confirmation of order, the balance payable 7 days prior to the event. All deposits will be forfeited if final payments/balances are not paid on required date.

  • Cancellation of event must be received in writing, the following cancellation charges apply:
    30 days prior to event 20%
    15 days prior to event 50%
    7 days prior to event 100%
    No cancellations will be accepted during peak periods like Easter Holidays and the month of December or any other peak periods over long weekends.

  • This quote is not a confirmation to book:  Please pay the deposit and fax or e-mail the proof of payment.

  • Delivery and collection fees may change in accordance to the petrol price.

  • Delivery and collection fees does not include set-up of tables and chairs or setting of tables or event management unless separately quoted.

  • The client or any representative of the client needs to check all goods when received.  Once the goods leave the premises,  Fabulous Functions can not be held responsible for any shortages or breakages.  Should Fabulous Functions do the delivery and collection, the client or a representative needs to check all goods together with the Fabulous Functions's employee.  Any shortages or damages should be reported immediately.  All glassware will be checked for chips and cracks and linen will be checked for any burns on their return to our premises.

  • Please return all hired items in a clean condition as received from Fabulous Functions.  A washing fee of R50/100 items will be charged for dirty cutlery, crockery, and glasses.  Please do not wash the linen.

  • All hired items to be returned in the original packaging when received.  Should any boxes, containers or packaging get lost, a fee will be charged on lost packaging material.

  • A returnable breakage deposit is included in the quote.  Should any damages or losses occur, Fabulous Functions will deduct the replacement cost of the items from the breakage deposit.  The remainder of the breakage deposit will be refunded within 7 days after the event. 

  • Dance floors & Stages available, levelling of surface excluded.
